Blood pressure is the force of the blood flowing through the arteries. Arteries are the blood vessels that carry blood from the heart and from the heart to the other part of the body.   The action of heartbeat pushes the blood through arteries. When the blood flows with pressure through the artery wall it’s called blood pressure.

High blood pressure is caused when the movement of the blood through arteries at a faster pace than usual. There can be multiple different reasons for high blood pressure. If the fluctuation of the blood is too high or it stays high for a longer period of time you attract the fear of stroke, heart disease, or kidney failure. It also leads to other kinds of issues in the body.

Mostly the high blood pressure issue occurs because of wrong eating habits, obesity, consumption of alcohol, smoking, etc. These choke the arteries and the veins which transfer the blood. This may lead to the issue of high blood pressure.

Types Of Hypertension

Hypertension can be categorized into two. One is primary hypertension and the other one is secondary hypertension.

Primary Hypertension is one of the most common. The cause of the hypertension issue is not known.  It is often the result of age, body changes, or lifestyle. These kinds of issues develop over a long period of time.

Secondary hypertension:- This kind of hypertension is caused generally due to a health problem or medicine which causes high blood pressure. This kind of hypertension can lead to

  • Kidney problems
  • Sleep Apnea
  • Thyroid Or Adrenal Gland Problem.
  • Due to other medication.

What are the symptoms of high blood pressure?

Mostly blood pressure does not show any kind of symptoms. This is the reason it is also often known as the silent killer. It can only be checked using regular checks on blood pressure.

Some people might go through a severe headache, nose bleeding, or shortness of breath.  However, there can be many other things like feeling nauseated, etc.  These generally occur when the blood pressure reaches an extreme high.

How to cure blood pressure?

There are various ways through which you can control high blood pressure.

Regular exercise helps the well functioning of the heart and the blood flowing from the veins.

Another way to control blood pressure is by taking food that is low in cholesterol. Try to avoid fried food as much as possible.

If you do work which requires long sitting hours it is suggested to take a small walk after every 2 or 3 hours.

These techniques will help you to get better health and also ensure you don’t have to face the issue of high blood pressure.
